    A lot of companies and micro breweries are leaning towards the flat new design style with bold colors and vintage fonts.

    You don't see the NASCAR speed look of Busch or Bud Ice on those labels.

    In Canada, I was impressed with two designs recently:

    Beaus


    Rickards Cardigan beer (seasonal)

    Breckenridge, a brewery from Colorado, does some great packaging.

    I do want to keep this thread going, as it is something that I think a lot of us can relate to. I think beer design is a very progressive part of graphic design and it is important to stay current in it, especially since the craft beer market has become so prominent.

    That being said, I've always been a fan of the packaging for this (note the bottle opener):
