App to find name of font?

Any know of an App to find the name of a font. I have spent hours trying to figure out a font before. I had an app years ago that worked pretty well. Any know what I'm talking about?

I use What the Font from Myfonts but sometimes isn't as accurate as I'd like it to be, However, you can get help from their forum.

I often use http://www.whatfontis.com/ and http://www.identifont.com/.
They are rather hit and miss but generally, they can distinguish those hard to name fonts.

WhatTheFont is also available on iPh/Android - quite useful sometimes.

What the font library are big but slow on the newer font face. But then again it is crazy how big font library can be.

It depends what you are looking for:

WhatFontIs:
• Has both free fonts & paid fonts in their database
• Automatic detection tends to be worse than WhatTheFont
• Forum response is much slower than WhatTheFont

WhatTheFont:
• Has mainly paid fonts in their database
• Automatic detection tends to better than WhatFontIs
• Forum response is much faster than WhatTheFont
