    Anyone used PMS 803?

Has anyone here used Pantone 803 on a printed piece and if so, could you guys provide some pictures of that printed piece? It's hard to find printed examples of fluor pantones.

    Thanks in advance

Take a look at Neubau WELT - the cover of that book is flouro orange.

Be warned though - printing in flouros is crazy expensive as the inks have a short shelf life, and they're also very prone to fading / discolouration.

I don't have an example printed on paper handy, but I have attached a photo of a canvas bag prototype we recently did that has PMS 803C silkscreened onto it. It does have a bit more pop to it than can be seen from the photo, but 803C doesn't turn out quite as neon as the orange/red/green neons do.

Pantone - CMYK - RGB conversion

Are you talking about the pantone Matching System (PMS), is the easiest way to identify print ink colour or fabric background colour. Here is a list of Pantone swatches with corresponding CMYK and RGB value.

This conversion tool is to help you choose favourite colours. Please use it with care because different screens and projectors may render the colours differently.

Thanks all for the responses and your views. It's being used for a major an event's collateral, so it's lifespan will be short. I really wanted to go with 809, but of course, as many of you know, the client was hell bent on that yellow. What can ya do?!
