haven't tried RAD will give that a shot..
i think this problem can be solved by modifying your hosts file but i'm still figuring it out...
Is there any chance to do something if i have two different installation dates on two plugins?
well, here is the update for what we're mentioning. I tried RAD but no good. I also block astutegraphics.com using hosts file in PC but my plugins still show up trial expired mode. I delete .ins1sfa .dys1sfa and so on it turn out all the plugin expired at the start up of Illustrator at once, so I think these files are for checking trial period.
Unfortunately, I cannot find the solution to lock or keep the plugin run smoothly. Obviously, it doesn't have a thing like calling home or internet effect, it just a keygen is not enough to break the checking serial number and trial expired. Don't know if xforce still care about these plugins becuz they're a bit lagging with the speed of astute team.
Follow these for making all astute plugins stay active. I have no merit I just reformulate for making others avoid the mistakes.
hhunor is the one that point me to the correct solution.
- install all the astute plugins you need (without internet is a suggestion). All but vectorscribe 2. This is not working, there is no serial number for this version. Be happy with vectorscribe 1.9.2.
- When all is done, don't launch Illustrator yet. Instead, go and install folder guard on your machine. When you finish, set your folder guard to protect the folder named "Astute Graphics", the one located in C:\ProgramData (this location is hidden, you must activate show hidden files and folders first, or hit in the run command %programdata%).
Now, is good to understand the folder guard help vs bad cracking xforce keygen. The keygen unlock the plugins for just about 3 days from the moment you register your plugins. After that, the plugins will time bomb (so bad crack). But they will reset to trial state after a little amount of time from the moment you launch illustrator and this is where the folder guard magic comes in. They expire after 4 min or so only if you don't protect your "Astute Graphics" folder, the one in the programdata location. This is the place where astute heaven and hell coexist. Heaven because when you launch illustrator you need to let this location to do the job (so unprotect the location in folder guard and plugins will open and registered ok first) and once the aplication is launched you must isolate the hell (so protect it with folder guard, for preventing astute plugins to receive the evil in your life:)).
So, from now on all you need is something like this: launching Illustrator is green for folder guard icon, and when illustrator is open folder guard must be activated to protect C:\ProgramData\Astute Graphics. The bad news is this is the ritual for every Illustrator session you make. A little pain in the * but at least it's working.
Remember: time to work!-> folder guard pause protect->start illustrator->illustrator is
open->resume folder guard protection!
Keep in mind when you launch Illustrator you must register your plugins with X-force keygen. So, do so for unlocking your plugins. If you already done this and you want a new 3 days working reset just delete all files from C:\ProgramData\Astute Graphics and re-enter the serials when Illustrator start.
I hope this help someone.
if you installed VS 2 or 2.1 DO NOT delete .vs2sfa (c:/ProgramData/AstuteGraphics) as I do, because you can't install it again untill serial is available.
can anyone share a .vs2sfa file please?!
Well, I don't think I see this file on two computers I check. I have also trial of version 2 installed and this file isn't there. I think it never was because this is supposed to be generated when you register. So, without a serial, no .vs2sfa...
Am I wrong?!
My trial is still working without a .vs2sfa file (of course trial mode)...
I use a PC with Kaspersky Internet Security 12 (not sure if this is important, because the crack doesn't seem to phone home)
I also get the "trial expired message" sometimes. My absurdly simple solution is to close and open again Illustrator - then the message is gone and all plugins are ready to go...
BTW, can you use Xforce kg for the VectorScribe 2 ?
try this, OSX only
