    TTF "and" OTF?

When you have a font in both TTF and OTF, do you toss the TTF in favour of the OTF?

    Yes !
    I always choose OTF.
Because it has all feature of the font: alternate, liga, swash..

And TTF is practically use for web.

So you fully delete (throw away) the TTF version?

I'm wondering about this as my library is getting so large that it would be nice to not have duplicates of fonts if there's no good reason to hold on to the TTF versions.

Yes, me too, but my question is, do you actually delete (forever) the TTF files, or might they have some utility/value?

I always try to delete TTFs when there are both but can't ever quite make myself. Maybe I'll try again now that I get the difference more.

Though most fonts I've come across are always TTF, and are rarely OTF, but thank you for telling me the differences between the two. I think I'm gonna try and reach to get more OTF fonts, considering I have windows 7, and just settle for installing the OTF if the font comes with both!

Does the file type matter when it comes to printing things out, though?

I also immediately delete any TTF files when I receive an OTF font.

It makes me feel like I'm actually managing my ever-growing font collection...

Yeah, OTF is smaller, and can have more options, so having both feels redundant to me.
