    Question about font licence

    Dear PrintRoot member,

I have question about font licence. I will be appreciate any comment from you.

Is it OK for me if i bought some fonts from MyFonts, etc and used that font in my vector design (final filetype is EPS and the font will be outlined in AI) and sell the design to digital marketplace such as shutterstock or graphicriver?

Usually i used free commercial font for my design but now i have some design concept and there isn't free commercial font to match my concept design.

Thank you for your help :)

It would be useful to actually see the license itself but usually this is fine. Most licenses state that you're allowed to use the font in your commercial projects, as long as you don't sell the font itself as your own. But again, without seeing the license, it's difficult to tell.

Thank you so much, stealth for your info. Maybe you can help me, the font is Frontage.

I'm plan to use this font for creating .eps file artwork and sell the file. Text will be outlined. Is there any chance to use this font with desktop licence?

    Thank you.

I think it's fine as long as you make it integrated inside your design.. ( i mean you do not make a vector stock of just those letters..)

many font stuff inside shutter stock design are paid one.. but they are just for template.. people won't eventually use writings "your text here" right?? XD and they are already in vector shape..

and if you actually want to make an alphabetic design.. make sure you bring something to it.. effect that you cannot get by just using frontage..

i love frontage btw :D~ awesome font
