Looking for volunteers to rename fonts

    Dear Printroot Members,

I have a couple of fonts that I would like to be renamed. I have seen that some of you guys are using different programs to rename fonts. I haven't such a program and tried to get it but couldn't find it and finally given up. I wish that I had technical skills to fix it by my self by using an alternative way. Anyway, I hope that one of you guys consider to help me with it. I really appreciate it and be thankful.

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards

Put the font here and link to the page of that font then I can help you. (not too many since at the moment I can't manage my time but if they're just couple of fonts oh well why not? )
FYI: Font Forge (free, open-source) might be useful program to you.
    Code:
Only the registered members can see the download links/content. pleaseĀ Register to gain full access.
Cross-platform, open-source, stable, can convert from/to many font extensions...

if you want to change the name just double click the file and rename, what i want to do is root.

    maybe this will serve "FONTLAB"

As you'll have guessed, there's more to renaming a font than renaming the file. FontLab or FontForge are good tools for the job, but to get the font to show up nicely in application menus with all the weights and styles grouped you need to be sure to put the right names in the right locations. There's a good tutorial on this stickied to this forum:
    Code:

I could help if you need it, FontLab can be daunting at first. Upload the fonts here and pm me.
