I suggest FontExplorerX. I tryed also Suitcase, but I've found myself better with FontExplorer

Tried a few, IMO Font Explorer X is the best there is. Its speed and Smart Sets are great assets. The caveat is, try to stay on the lower side of 50,000 fonts, less than 45,000 is even better. Otherwise, the program slows down to a crawl and is prone to crash.

TypeDNA. It cost money but it's pretty good.

I use NexusFont (I have a PC at work) I like it because it enables me to categorize all of my fonts by different tags. It takes a lot of work initially, but it really saves time now.

I have used a few. I like the standard one for the mac, FontBook, however somethings don't show up in previews.

I have also used Type DNA. It's pretty good.

Now I have Suitcase Fusion. I like that those two have plugs ins for photoshop.

I've just upgraded to OSX Mavericks as well as Creative Cloud, and this to be causing some havoc with FontExplorer. Anyone else found the same thing?
