    Font Management App

Hi! I'm a graphic designer and I used fonts a lot! Thanks a lot for all the fonts you upload in print root! You've saved my life a couple of times.

The things is that sometimes the fonts I don't know if they get a little corrupted, because once I install it and is in Font Book it shows like:

    Avenir-ExtraLight
    Avenir-Heavy
    Avenir-Extrabold

So instead of arranging all Avenir in a single "tab" it makes a lot of tabs with each type of mode of the font, is it Font Book or is any other Font Management App better?

FontExplorer X Pro is great, you can organize all weights of a font into a "family" folder after importing. Custom classifications allow you to designate "smart sets" where you can organize fonts by particular style. Well worth the license price!

There's a long thread on font management here: http://www.printroot.com/forum/f7/font-management-what-method-app-do-you-use-why-5757/

Some good suggestions. I've been using Suitcase Fusion but looking for something that can be used by two computers. If anyone has a suggestion for a "collaborative" font manager, that'd be awesome!

There's the sever versions of FEX and Suitcase etc (haven't used myself - but have heard varying degrees of satisfaction - and they're up there in price/hard to find :P)

I'm been using Suitcase Fusion for years, but there were those few weeks after upgrading to Mavericks that it was inoperable, so I downloaded a trial of FontExplorer and preferred it so much more (it didn't feel as bulky). I think next paid upgrade I'm going to switch over.

I've gone back and forth among Suitcase Fusion, FontAgent Pro, and FontExplorer, and while I like all of them, I've found that SF has the most reliable auto-activation.
