helvetica and yes futura, bodoni and countless others, but why bother cliche/ overused type? there is universal rule in design, and when productivity matters designer don't have much time searching all other option for best wedding font, they will just copy existing design available. That's why template is introduced.
your point of view is creativity, but other designer will have other perspective on their own interest.

    Trendy Sans Serifs I remember:
Rotis – cca 15 years ago
Dax – cca 8-10 years ago
    And now the Gotham tsunami

Nevertheless they are very well crafted + good looking fonts

Yup. Also Comic Sans. For some reason it's even used at Academy of Fine Arts in my city for official letters.

When a typography works it is used a lot. Cliche is when the overused without judgment and just because it is fashionable.

Trajan is a good type overused.
Scriptina is a bad script font, free, and overexposed.

Gotta agree with Apercu being everywhere these days, even though it's a very well executed typeface.

Being in a small town, I don't notice typefaces that are overused. I do, however, notice certain typefaces being used in almost EVERY project in my class. I have a classmate who uses neutraface and gotham for everything. Another uses exclusively Fort Foundry typefaces. I'm not gonna lie, I use Brandon Grotesque for the majority of my projects lol.

True. It is lovely though, especially the mono version.

I often notice fonts that are offered free end up everywhere – like Museo and Lobster.

With my top vote for Fonts I like to see dead and never used again...
"Bleeding Cowboys", it seems every new, unknowing, designer-wannabe
thinks using this font will make their design an instant "looker". All it says to me is they don't have a clue.
    ...Just sayin.

A good example of this is both Thirsty Script and Bello Script. They became within the last years an inevitable script choices even though there's so much nicer script fonts.

But you know what, it helps us distinguish bad and good design.
