Very many, indeed.
I like small firms like HTF, Enschede, Hubert Jocham.
But also much respect to giants like Linotype or FontFont.
Hubert Jocham, Hoefler & Frere-Jones, Sudtipos, Dalton Maag, Fontsmith, The Northern Block, Latinotype & G-Type are probably the most common starting points when I'm looking for fonts. All have a good mix of usable styles. If I'm looking for a distinct display font it could come from anywhere!!!
Lately I've been using a lot of Process typefaces. Good stuff. Especially Klavika and Stratum.
Radim Pesko is the best!
One of my best type foundry is the Parachute!
Neubau, though it seems it doesnt make or sell anymore
I really like laura worthington fonts and linotype as well, hard to pick just one
Font Farm and Primetype are up there with the modern, futuristic, techno type fonts
I fancy Fontyou too (mmmm Bruum :)
There are so many to choose from but currently, I like Fenotype, Legacy of Defeat & Sudtipos.
I like this!
Linotype, Dalton Maag, The Northern Block... H&FJ
Sudtipos, Latinotype, Lian Types... Laura Wor&%!"% hahaha Fenotype, Correspondence Ink
Hubert Jochan, Colophon, Font Fabric... and Typodermic
Klim Type, definitely, I wish I could get how to use his fonts properly.
B+P Swiss and HVD ! in my opinion
Positype, latinotype, sudtipos, Yellow design studio.
