Best software to create a custom font

Does anyone know the best software to create a custom font on a mac.
I'm not looking to be overloaded with a heap of features - just after something simple that can generate a font.

I think Glyphs is probably the way to go -- or even Glyphs mini, if you're not trying to super-duper features, stylistic sets, etc. I used the trial version and it was super easy to make a couple tweaks in a font or two.

Amazing thank you for the input.
I looked into it and Glyphs does seem pretty easy to use so it should be just fine for what I'm after!
I managed find a link to
Hidden Block (you must be registered and have 1 posts):

    if anyone is interested!

I'd still be interested in other suggestions if anyone has any...

    Cheers

robofont is supposed to be the top of line. i don't have any experience using it, but i know most professionals have switched over. if you can get your hands on a copy i'd say it's worth checking out

I thought I saw on their site that Robofont is for MAC only - is that correct?

    I use Fontlab Studio.
If you are a beginner there are few video tutorials that can be found on google.
    It fits my needs 100%.
And yes - robofont is for mac users only :/

I've also heard good things about RoboFont. Jessica Hische said that she uses it for creating fonts or even refining her vector illustrations.
