Best condensed font for display, poster

    Hello everybody,

I'm from Paris, France and it's my first post here, so please be gentle with me if this thread was already created !

I would like to know which condensed display font would you prefer to use for a poster design ?
I am currently working on a music festival poster, I have already made some typographic layout with the Druk family font from Commercial type (great foundry by the way) but I would like to get more diversity for my typographic choice.
Could you help me and give me some nice and fresh new condensed typefaces ?

Thanks ahead, hope my english is not too bad : )
    Cheers

Hello, your choice is really good. Druk family is really great, but you could also try Heroic Condensed by Silas Dilworth or Trim Poster by lettersfromsweden foundry.
    I hope I was helpful

    Hello there!

Druk is beautiful, great choice! For me League Gothic often works, it is also condensed, but has a smoother feel compared to Druk, so it might be a good alternative. And if you are searching for somthing completely different, but still condensed, Driver Gothic is interesting, maybe it could work.

Best of luck with your project!

    Plak Condensed

Plak Extra Condensed is a beautiful for poster design, I think! Really bold, but still compact.

    Trim Poster

I agree with Funkalectric; Trim is a great and unique take on a condensed display font.

I think Druk has some great weights, as well as Tungsten. Another condensed display font I enjoy is Interstate!

+1 for this suggestion. Another one you can try is Trade Gothic Pro.

FF Clan has a pretty wide range of widths, Bureau Grot (Font Bureau) or Grot10 (a2type), or FF Unit/Unit Slab are some options.
