I try it last month with i1 pro
in "NEW i1Profiler" I can use it by click use i1 hardware as dongle

in fact I can't see what different result compare with old version
a few thing maybe only new interface (just only my idea )

If you can use i1 as a dongle, probably only unlocks the most basic functions and not all of them.
There's a review here that compares i1 Profiler with Monaco and ProfileMaker:

I can confirm that an i1 Pro spectrophotometer can be used as a dongle for the new i1Profiler software, but does indeed only unlock the most basic of functions.

Have not got into testing as the new interface is a bit of a nightmare (IMHO).

Quite happy to continue using Monaco Profiler until a fully working trial of i1Profiler comes along

Also, i1Profiler lacks scanner profiling, which makes no sense whatsoever (again IMHO).
