Just a reminder that this reset works with all 4.x including 4.2.1 on Yosemite :)
FontExplorer® X Pro 4.2.2 is available!
To see a list of all the new features FontExplorer X Pro 4 has to offer, click here!
If working in a FontExplorer X Server environment, this client version requires FontExplorer X Server version 1.7.x or later. However, we recommend you update your server to the new version 1.9 in order to get the most out of all the great new server features. Older FontExplorer X Server versions are not supported.
We are proud to introduce FontExplorer X Pro 4.2.2, the latest version of the all-in-one font management solution
Changes in Version 4.2.2
When activating a font under Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) FontExplorer X Pro would crash or hang when in Preferences > Advanced the fonts were set to automatically deactivate on shut down, restart, log out or when FontExplorer X Pro was quit
The Unicode range “Basic Latin” did not appear in the output from the "Print" feature
When a font activation plugin requested a font and FontExplorer X Pro was not already started, occasionally FontExplorer X Pro was not automatically launched
When viewing fonts in the Slide Show, occasionally a ghost image of fonts appeared
FontExplorer X Pro crashed when opening the Font Information Dialog on a font with defective kerning information
Following an update from Linotype FontExplorer X to FontExplorer X Pro the activation status of manually activated fonts may be lost and the fonts will need to be reactivated
If older System Font Collections from previous OS version are available, FontExplorer X Pro may crash when performing operations with the System Font Collections under OS X 10.9. Workaround: delete the old System Font Collections from "/Users/[USERNAME]/Library/FontCollections"
Photoshop CS5–CC: Fonts in layered TIFF files are not activated by the plugin. Activation occurs correctly when converted to a PSD file
Missing fonts are not detected in Illustrator PDF files and no font request occurs
No font request occurs on EPS documents with non-embedded fonts
Photoshop plugin Version 3.5.1: The font request dialog will erroneously open when a Photoshop file is selected in the Open dialog. Workaround: open files via double-click or by dragging them to the Photoshop application icon
FontExplorer X Server Users and Administrators
Imported LDAP users are not shown in Account Management and status shows "not imported" if before completing the import process a source list item is selected, the changes in the LDAP panel saved, then return to the LDAP panel and complete the import process
If a nested LDAP Security Group name contains special characters such as *, /, ( or ) then the users inside the nested group are not shown
The Preview feature for non-downloaded server fonts does not support previewing of Mac or Windows PostScript fonts. A message indicates that these fonts types need to be downloaded in order to preview
A complete version history can be viewed on http://www.fontexplorerX.com/download under Previous Release Notes
Trial Reset still working fine :)
4.2.3 released, trial reset working.
thank you, works well!
