    Yeah what Spider said...

Tested on 10.11.1, Acrobat DC 2015.9.20077.160923.

Just tested the x32 bit and it is not working, so 10.9 upwards and Acrobat DC only, I won't be fixing the x32 part for Acrobat XI

What version OS X are you running?

I am a little bit perplexed as to why you are having issues. It seems like a networking issue, are you able to test the Windows Pitstop Pro on the licensing server, to check all that side is working and to narrow down the issue?

Also if you check out the logs in C:\Enfocus\bg_data_system_v010\flexlm.log and scroll down you should see the license checkout running something like:

7:58:03 (esko) OUT: "pspro_11" [email protected]
7:58:05 (esko) IN: "pspro_11" [email protected]

Maybe if you pm me your flexlm.log so I can see whats wrong.

    Hi W,

    Pm'd you my log file!

Honestly this is driving me nuts!

Do you need to have the Pitstop Workgroup manager application running on the License Server?

When I “Select Server” in the licensing section of Pitstop prefs, it scans and finds nothing, so i have entered
the IP address instead and chose port 50905 (not ticked as default), or should this be the HOSTNAME, not IP?

Iam running OS X 10.10.5 and Acrobat DC version 2015.009.20069

    Thanks again!

    Sc

    hi SC!

now i can confirm its working as advertised; no more grayed out tools!

i am on mac os x 10.0.1 and acrobat DC.

you don't have to run enfocus workgroup manager at all.

just enter the ip address of your license server in the pitstop prefs.
if you are on the same system with acrobat and license server you may even enter 127.0.0.1.

having license server and pitstop client on the same system might cause less troubles!

Just thinking out the box here, a different approach...

Do you think this would work if I ran Windows 7 in Parallels on another Mac, not sure how well Pitstop licensing prefs would see the WGM license, running on another Mac, and running in a virtual PC machine?

Thanks Spider, I have combined the Mac and PC in one nice neat archive with instructions,
please anyone, let me know if any issues. No need to rename the hostname in the license anymore.

    Hi Spider/Willberwilde,

Eventually got this working! Yey! I ended up deleting anything to do with Enfocus licensing, as I had local licensing manager as well as Network Manager (Doh!).

Great thanks to a job well done!
