Screen platerite or AGFA AValon N series are more reliable

I have 2 Trendsetter and 2 Suprasetter with MCL / SCL.
I love Trendsetter for speed but I love also Suprasetter for automatic load/unload.
Suprasetter works for 18 hour a day without problem but.....with Fuji LH-PLE plates. If u use another plate..........big problem on loading/unloading.........

We used Kodak Trendsetter 800 III Quantum with Kodak T1250 and Heidelberg Suprasetter 105 with G&J Interplater 125.
And I can say that Heidelberg is a way better. Also including expendables, not just hardware.
But talking about software Kodak Preps and Prinergy are more convenient though Prinect and Signa Station are more stable.

I've used Trendsetter 3230, very very good machine.. when we sold it, it had 357,000 burn plates !
we had a Topsetter for 1 year, but not really convinced, no problem..

Trendsetter - Kodak or Heidelberg should work pretty well.

    Hello all,
I got the Agfa Avalon 8N three years ago which is actually the Screen Platenrite machine with the agfa label on it. I was going for the Screen machine but i got the same thing way cheaper from Agfa. I have produced 80.000 + plates 70x100 since then and the only problem i had to deal with was replacing 3 leds of the laser head (not cheap). No other problems to report so far, other than routine checks every 6 months.
Plates are produced with perfect register on the printing machine, no need for adjustment from press operator most of the times.

To my experience Screen CTP equipment seems to be the most reliable in terms service/uptime and such. Plus it creates good quality outputs.
