    Trendsetter SCSI

My Creo Trendsetter 800 Quantum is attached to the PC via the SCSI card with a PCI-X interface. Nowadays it is hard to find an up-to-date hardware with this interface. Is it possible to use a card with PCI or PCI-e interface? If it is possible, I would like to find out a specific model of card that will definitely work.

check the model of the scsi card to be exact so you search for the same family if it.
as far as i recall the Trendsetter 800 works either with a( 2944 adaptec card or its simillar in LSI models)or a( 29160 scisi card or its LSI simillar model) and of course you can change into that ver. of hardware.

    Hi, check this link:
    http://www.rti-rips.com/InterfaceCards.html

they sell interfaces for a lot of ctps. It will be a modern interface for sure.

I'll be looking for adaptec 2944. Should work, I hope.

I'm in Ukraine. It's extremely hard to find proper cables here! But I have a couple. Seems like they'll fit a new card.

if your card is a TS800 or TS800II it wont work with a 2944. it will work with a 29160 or 39160 scsi card or its similar.
