    Exposure adjustment

Do not adjust the hardware. First make sure that your processor is set correctly. Dev temperature at 35C and dev time at 30 sec. Output from your Harlequin rip a monochome exposure sweep ( found under 'Output' - 'Print calibration) with a range of 50 to 150 in steps of 10. Now measure the processed result to find the lowest test exposure with a reading in the 100% step of approximately Density 4.00.
Enter this exposure value in your pagesetups under 'exposure', this will automatically send the value to the imagesetter everytime you expose film.
You can now fine tune your calibration with a further 'uncalibrated' test to obtain the correct dot %.

    Hi,

precision screening means that you try to avoid moiree. So that is the reason that yellow and normally black have different lpi than cyan and magenta. This is the normal procedure. You may try to use the Hell angles wich are different from the HPS ones. The results in combination with special dot size are much better than normal.

Right now I'm using ecrm 6.2, but I have the 8.3 rip to try (but I'm having the same problem)

The thing is that I'm printing a quadtone, in 2540 dpi and 100 lpi (monochromatic), but when I print it (or film it, don't know how to say it in english) the screening or lpi are different in every color (C=105, M=105, Y=115, B=105) with Harlequin Precision Screening, and without it, the lpi are C=97, M=97, Y=100, B=97.... I don't know if this difference is normal or not, but I'm having a lot of problems with this...

Now I've tried with 1200 dpi and 100 lpi and having the same problem, someone can help me?
(I've tried with monochrome and CMYK configuration, and having the same issues)

By the way, my native language is Spanish, so if you can help my in that language I don't have any problem, and for the same reason, sorry for my bad English.
    Thanks!
