    Need help

    Hello. I need a little-big help.

I have a fujifilm PI-M1400 imagesetter and I wanna know what program can I use to make it work better. In this moments, I have ECRM RIP (don't know the version, but I'ts old) in a windows 2000 computer. The big problem, is that I don't have any backup program so if the computer dies, I don't have anything to make the imagestter work.
Thanks a lot, and sorry for my bad english!

You can use any Harlequin RIP software. For example:
    http://www.printroot.com/forum/f21/xitron-navigator-8-1-rip-446/
    http://www.printroot.com/forum/f21/ecrm-ripmate-v7-2-a-105/

You can update your Win 2000 computer with new hardware and install Win Server 2003 for example.

I've downloaded xitron, only have to try it! Thanks a lot.
By the way, do you have some datasheet from the machine or something?

You can use Acronis True Image Home for making backup copy of necessary disk or all data in your computer. In this program you make USB boot flash drive and store backups in another hdd or logical disk. This better way to restore you system as is.

In this case you will have to install ECRM RIP first then you can Install and run Xitron.

I think, you need install only Xitron and copy plugins for your machine to it plugins folder. This two RIPs has one Harlequin core.

Yes the RIPs has same core but SCSI PEL driver is available only in ECRM RIP thats why you will have to install ECRM RIP so that Windows can communicate with RIP otherwise there will be no connectivity
