    Question Gmc and mce

    is anybody who give me some information a bout MCE and GMC ctp and say to me that what is different between each other with MPE ctp?

    MPE is very old type board. MCE is developed after then. Firmware is different from MCE and commands are different but similar. In order to give head command in MCE you have to be edirected to the head

    GMCE is similar to MCE. but main difference is data communication is completely different. GMCE type CtP's make data connection to DFE is done via G-bit network connection. Additionally, diagnostic port s different too.

    MPE,MCE and GMCE are the name of different motherboard generation of creo CTP. GMCE is the newest one, and has just a Lan connection between it and RIP server

    MPE is old PCB in Heidelberg Creo Trendsetter CTP machines,
    MCE is old PCB in Creo Trendsetter CTP macihnes,
    GMCE is newer PCB in Kodak Trendsetter CTP machines
