Have u PELBOX connection or SCSI-Pelbox connection?
Which RIP u have now on mac?
I need this info for good answer.

If u have newer version os SCSI PROM on Fuji motherboard, then, u need just Adaptec AHA 2940 SCSI Card, then replace original Windows SCSI driver with special version of this driver. I can send it.
I have all other driver. Its like ECRM Mako 4600.

But, if u have older version of SCSI PROM on motherboard (1.11), u must stay on mac (ADAPTEC AVA 2906 or older NCR integrated SCSI Card - Gray Mac)

    Tell me for more.

    @arsenlupin
we currently using pelbox - scsi with my old pc (os windows 3.11) + ecrm rip
and the ripping process very slow with it
i want to try using xitron navigator so i can install it with a new computer to make the ripping process faster
thx in advance for your help

    Pelbox

    Mik,
open SCSI Pelbox, then look at the PROMs. If su see version 1.11, u MUST use MAC.
If u want use PC, u have to change/copy this PROMS.
But, i can u send MAC Harlequin RIP version 5.3 or 5.5. It is very fast if u find Macintosh G4 with ADAPTEC AVA 2906 SCSI CARD. (Look at e-bay).

Make mne photo of all your parts (open imagsetter then make photo, SCSI BOX, CABLE), then send to me. It is simple. I make u right answer.

    Greetings.

    Navigator RIP

    I try to explain:

if u have SCSI Pelbox, u need just ecrm mako 4600 plugin driver for Xitron Navigator RIP, then set your imagsetter for SERIAL communication.

If u have just Pelbox (u say u have pelbox), u need special interface.

If u have integrated SCSI pelbox (open imagesetter to check it) i must see which PROm version u have.

    If i see this, i send u driver&plug-in combination for u.

Run Setup, install downloaded ECRM RIP, select Mako 4600 (Fuji PI-M1800).
After installation, make restart, then move ecmrip5.3/sw/devices/*.i32 to x:/xitron/Navigator8.1/sw/devices.

By the way ECRM RIP has Harlequin core like Xitron Navigator. So you can use it one if versions are same (there is v.7.x and v.8.x ECRM RIPs availible on this forum and "medicine" from Xitron (not patch lic only) have to work with them both
