Serious Fonts for Legal texts. Which is better?

    Hello!

This is my 1st post. And i want to know what is the best font for legal text like contracts, docs to court, etc...
The font had to be serious, elegant and modern, because Times New Roman is boring, but not a bad option if you can't chooose any other font.

I need your help, because there are a lot of fonts and i'm new in this. I want to know your preferences.

I'm looking for something new, perfect for reading large texts, serious but not agressive.

    Thank you.

PD.- "sorry for my bad english"

Minion pro is always a good option, if you need something more "modern" try Soho, is a very useful slab font and always look great.

Even thou it's only because it's default status it seems more and more people are using Calibri (and that includes legal texts). Considering it's excellent readability, depending on context it's an option I believe is worth considering.

Adobe Caslon, Brandon Grotesque, Levato, Neutra text & Skolar. Those are my favorites for small text :)

    Thank you very much.

The fonts that have been recomended are very good. Thanks a lot!

I like LEVATO, it is good . It's serious and elegant. It's like Ehrhardt, but with a modern look, and in italics looks fantastic.
GLOSA is very good as well. Thanks for the link It's very very clear, and very readable.
But SKOLA is fascinating, i like very much, i need to look it in paper but in screen is fantastic, that's i'm looking for. The only thing i dont like i the letter "r", because is going down... But it's a fantastic font, i like the most. Thanks!!!

I try with Quiroga, Arno, Mercury and Brioni, but i'm still looking for "the font "

Guardian, Brioni or FF Tisa come to mind. I personally like Tiempos Text as a modern alternative to the tired Times New Roman. Or even consider Equity, shown at its creator's site, Typography for Lawyers.

Concourse and Equity are designed for this context specifically, so they're definitely worth a look! Gorgeous typefaces.

Minion is definitely a better alternative to Times.
