This printer was awarded 2011 printer of the Year in Europe right? My cousin had one and he claims that the offset-like printing quality of this printer is superb. As i've seen in the net it has an impressive print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi with 8 bit colours, 60page per minute printing in color, paper handling of up to 300 g/m2 and a wide range of in-line finishing capabilities such as stapling or punching. now that is superb! the problem with this no longer surprises me. You'd spend much on its toner cartridges.

I guess this printer would fit your needs but do some further research.

Good digital printer. Requires regular calibration and tried and tested paper stocks for best results. Popset papers print well on this.

It all depends on your budget. The Konica is a good entry level machine for production use. I would also look at the Xerox or one of the more pseudo-offset machines. My dream press would be a HP Indigo especially the ability to mix "inks" to custom print spot colors. The xerox machine also has the ability to print a clear toner to give a spot UV effect.
