I use an EPSON R1400. It's pretty old school but it is an amazing printer.

so sorry for your bad Epson story. That printer sounds like a nightmare. sorry. :( what are you going to buy to replace? or are you just putting up with it?

I print remotely too, to any printer I want, from my ph or from a pc. I use a remote access program called teamviewer, huge fan, and its free for personal use. ;)

I have a Mutoh Valuejet 1304EU that now is out of production, but is a very good printer if you find , 1 year and half never did extra maintenance and i had to change only 4 bamper!! :D

Otherwise i have a Mimaki JV33-160 very fast, very good quality, but i hate his RIP rasterlink ^^

I hope to help any who read

    Hp l25500

HP L25500 its latex, the print heads are consumable ($100 each) and you can replace them yourself, same for the wiping station. the cost to run it is pretty low. it has a built in i1 for making profiles (though onyx) its pretty fast and loads and unloads from the front so you can push it against the wall.
the only down falls are switching media is slow (but it does self align and self correct skew)
and it requires 2 220s for power
