    Hello,
it depends in which format you need, I work with plotter Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh and Epson. With Ecosolvent 54" 64" Roland works great, if you buy a Roland you don't need a software because Versaworks is included with the printer. Now a day every brand have the economic line of products and the price more or less are the same. Very usefull is to have the possibility in the same plotter to cut. Maibe you spend 1000 euros more, but it opens you a big market.

I think you can get the Mutoh Rockhopper for less than 3000 eur used which should be a good deal. If it's a new one you're looking for, Epson SureColor S30600 is probably the cheapest version. We got one and i think it's fantastic.

I think Roland is the way to go print/cut.

I know there is a good Roland with Print and Cut and not very expensive(still more than the SureColor), but the problem is it's 1.35m or so and that might not please a lot people since 1.6m is quite the standard. Still print & cut, 2 in 1 is always a good way to go.

My guess is Roland's SolJet Pro 4 XR-640 is the thing you're looking for. I think it's a bit expensive though. You might want to consider buying a used unit. I heard they were selling lots of machines in Romania (which is not that far from Barcelona) at very low prices... at least compared to new machines.

Google for used Rolands and see what will pop up - won't hurt you to try ;-)
Also there were really cheap Mimaki and Mutoh machines - again used units...

Romanian second-hand printer prices are the worst! Everyone thinks they own some kind of jewel that is like wine, the older the more expensive saying "This is a better machine than the newer ones". Don't buy second-hand from Romania. I live there and i tried to buy one and prices are at their biggest in europe.

Heck, i bought my Epson from Germany!

Wow thanks for sharing the info!

I live in Bulgaria and I was considering buying a machine from there, so... again - thanks for the heads up! I'll just look somewhere else and match prices.

I guess we're just a tad off-topic, but if you could share some links(if it's not against the rules) - it might help awa954 as well.
