I prefer lightroom for the tools and for the communication with Photoshop, easy to use and less complicated

I prefer Lightroom. The features are more robust. I'm not sure why Adobe didn't include it in the master collection though. It's kinda annoying to plomp down some serious coin for the "master" collection and then have to buy it separately ;(

I think that it's due to the app's interface but I just can't get used to Aperture. However I do use and prefer Lightroom and photoshop when I edit photos.

Lightroom used with all modules is unbeatable, and the workflow with Adobe products is very fast.

Actually Aperture is much cheaper, Depending on where you get it from Lightroom costs around $80 for an update and $150 without updates. Aperture is $80 dollars for first time purchase. So Lightroom is almost double.

i wonder why nobody mentioned Phase One!?
i love lightroom, very fast and easy to use. but i'd definitely check out Phase One due to the best RAW-processing... (i.e. skintones!)

I've used Lightroom for a while but since I'm only using it for my private photo's, I switched to Aperture which is easier!
