I agree. Pretty underwhelming. Including maps isn't exactly a great desktop feature. I've only installed it on my laptop so far. Does any know of conflicts with CS4 and OSX Mavericks? I'm worried if I install on my other computer I'm going to have tons of problems with CS.

Multiple monitor improvements are making me love it most. I actually wireless connect to a HD projector with Apple TV as a second wall size monitor!

    Thumbs down Maverick and Samba

Lots of problem while connecting with PC server thru Samba protocol and some NAS. I had Dave to set the problem before but not working anymore. I am waiting a patch and meanwhile must go via FTP to get my files

I have a Macbook late 2008, and it's awesome but for starting it takes 6 min, I think the next version will be out for my laptop

So far it's a little faster and all my "older" programs look like they are still working!

There hasn't been a great deal of difference which is maybe why there have been few compatibility issues. Who am I to complain when its free though?

Totally agree! Honestly.... I haven't noticed much however I'm kinda excited about the new tagging feature. now I just need to find the time to actually mess with it.

I had my concerns about programs compatibility too but it seems to be working fine.

Still afraid to use it, as Western Digital keeps sending emails that it's causing problems with their back up software / hardware.

ya, and I was also warned by our IT guy at office not to switch over just yet because they haven't ironed out a few key network quirks so I'd recommend just use on personal machine for now.

Apparently Apple is over Cats... they've moved on to all things "Cali" so Mavericks is named after the popular surfing place in Northern California.

Does seem to be very aesthetical (although fair play, it was a free upgrade) and the main addition was the inclusion of maps however it has now rendered Quark 10 pretty useless, thankfully i have earlier verison!
