Greetings from Mexico!!
Did you guys do a clean install or just got into it head on?
I always prefer a clean install if practical so that any issues can be put down to the new OS.
So far so good, I recommend the download.
I don't feel like there's a dramatic differences but I'm glad they finally changed the look of notes, calendar and contacts lol. iBooks is awesome!
I do love Pages, although not directly related to Mavericks... just released at the same time but it's my favorite update really. :)
I love it! but when swtiching languages, some symbols is different than before...
I've had problems with fonts managing and haven't noticed any serious improvement in my laptop so I've dropped it :)
i like it because "Free"
I never like upgrading to the new OS, and this time was no different. After I downloaded Mavericks I couldn't log in to my creative cloud account. Had to wipe clean and reinstall everything, then it worked fine.
Several Software doesnt work, so i reinstall the old version
When they said it was free I wanted to go and install it since I'm too cheap to buy the previous versions and I decided to buy the before maverick to finally make the upgrade, but I'm worried about compatibility of programs, specially the adobe cs4 suite I use... does anybody know how would maverick work with that?
I am still using Snow Leopard on my MacBook air, because when I tried to install Lion, it became so slow that I couldn't use it for nothing but text editing. But I am starting to have problems with some new programs that don't run on Snow Leopard. Do you think that Mavericks is less memory and resource hungry than Lion?
