    Onyx or Wasatch

Which one is better and why? I have an older Roland SC-540 and I'm still using colorip. I was told Wastach is sooo much better over CR.

I saw once a screen shot of Wastach and it just looks like it can give you a lot more control of your colors. Colorip is very basic and seems to be out of date. Support seems to be near dead.

ask your dealer for a demo version and judge on your own.

nobody here can tell you which rip colour output is more pleasant for you.

Just wanted to see if someone here has used both. Dealer does not have a demo version. My dealer is a state away, they asked me to come in and use on a printer that I don't own.

i have switched from colorrip to colorgate because of new printing machine.
i am happy with both of them.

you may test colorgate in demo mode. its freely available for download!

I have used Onyx but not Wasatch. I can tell you that Onyx had a lot of bugs and a support contract was necessary.

Note that it's been 4 years since I've used the program, so they may have worked out the bugs without introduction new ones.
