How do I rip fronts from PDFs

I wanted to rip a font from a PDF doc and make a font - any know the quickest, easiest and most effective way to do this?

    rip fonts

Fonts that are embedded in a pdf file can be ripped in level 3 rips as long they are true type, post script or open type. They can be downloaded ( pdf files) directly to the rip or printed using the rip as your printer. I don't know that you can actually extract a font from a pdf because not all font info is there.

i used extractpdf.com and it works. the pdf should contain all glyphs to get a full character set though.
