    FONT Catagorization

    So how do you catagorize all those glorious fonts on your computer? I'd love to hear ideas.

    Foundry - Name (per MyFonts/foundry's website)

    This is probably the laziest method! I'd spend too much time checking if each font were in the correct category otherwise. lol

    Type style. Oldstyle, San-serif, Transitional, etc..

    not looking for software; i use printers apprentice and i love it.
    i'm just interested as to how to catagorize my millions of fonts. eeek. lol.

    I tend to make it a habit that once I get a font or collection to immediately put it in its proper category i.e japanese designers or in the foundries they did do work for

    nope, but sometimes i put some new fonts in folder
    for example: Font => 2013 => myfonts.com => font name (w/folder)

    I use this method too! And the fonts with no foundy I just organize them by serif, sans-serif, etc...
