I am a Chattanooga TN native. When I heard that a group of designers were teaming up to develop the first official American municipal typeface, I immediately supported the Kickstarter effort. I am a type/ Print fanatic and had often thought it would be great to have a font designed specifically for a city. In Europe there are several towns and cities that have their own typeface. This helps lend each of these places its own distinct character. You can read more about this here (http://chatype.com) and here (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chatype/chatype-a-typeface-for-chattanooga-tennessee).
I just wanted to see what others on the forum thought about the font itself and the idea in general of a "Municipal Typeface."
