    Thumbs up

Fundamental Brigade, worked with it on a logo and client loved it. Clear, sans, yet stylish enough to stand out!

I think if you're going for something modern, one of the best choices would be Gotham by H&FJ. It's very simple but has a lot of impact and has also been used quite frequently already by lots of graphic designers alike in the real world.
On the other hand, if you like a serif font, Minion Pro does a really good job.

I think that we can not elect a typeface as the most readable, or the best etc.. do this has caused and causes an incorrect use of the same for the majority of users (see helvetica, comic sans, etc..) There are a lot of fonts, and each has its beauties, and its legibility, hidden in its own shape, graphic designer must be able to find and exploit these features for each project.

    Neutraface

I use Neutra for a lot of things - it's such a clean typeface. Great for something professional like a company letterhead.

It really depends on the company, what they do, who they are. To just name some fonts wouldn't really help I don't think. Try looking at what their competitors use, and read their brand ethos and make a smart decision that will differentiate them from the rest.

I'd say Aquila, Arek and Gesta look good for those purposes.

Really depends on the client – most people on here have already covered the basics:
Helvetica, Gotham/Avenir, Futura, Franklin Gothic, Trade Gothic, DIN, etc. as far as clean sans options.

As far as serifs for logos etc I see a lot of Garamond, Bodoni, Baskerville, Trajan, etc.

Honestly impossible to answer without any info about type of company and what image it wants to go for.

I used Nauman lately, but it looks to "extended", and I worked on dimensions a little bit, instead of letting it "as it is".
