For my limited needs I would say Font ExplorerX but if I used Adobe apps I would probably go for Suitcase Fusion as I believe it has its own font pane extension which apparently makes managing fonts within these apps far more convenient.

Font Xplorer X. It's pretty stable and it also lets you design and print your own font sample books which is a great feature.

Haven´t used Suitcase for some years now. See they have gotten some nice features now. How is the speed?

Why would someone need an extra font organizer? I never had the need for something else than the standard one...

The new app "Fonts" (from the people who did "FontCase") looks good for organising collections and previewing fonts but unlike FontCase has no activation options so fonts must already be installed.

    Font Book

You might say I'm too standard or just feel comfortable with something awfully basic, but Font Book does the trick for me. It comes with the OS, so you don't have to download and install any extra software and you save a little bit of time there.

Anyway, I've tried other managers and DO realize that Font Book has really little functions, but with time I realized I didn't need the extra stuff to keep on working.

I have used FontCase for some time, but I found it to be really buggy.
    Have you had crashes?

I use Fontcase for a few years (since the first version) and it always has been a buggy program but i still think that its the best font manager for OSX. I've also tried Fonts from Bohemian Coding, but i dont like it.

I've been using Suitcase at the studio where I was working for a while, then switched to Font Explorer on my own. Now I'm using FontExplorer X Pro and I find it more structured to manage and more performing!
