    Is there a way to tell if the font is original or ripped?

    Is there a way to tell if the font is original or ripped?

    Maybe size of the file? not sure, but would like to know :)

    There is only 1 way.
    The Digital signature table (DSIG).
    An original good font has a valid DSIG.
    You can check this with microsoft font validator (free)
    To make a valid DSIG you need to pay.
    take a look:

    http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fontvalidator.mspx
