    - wondering if there is a color version available like the one above ? - who is different from the black & white original if you pay close attention ( and how did they recolor it ? )

    If you have Illustrator you can recolor it. Type your text. Select your text and go up to Type> Create Outlines. Your text will now be changed to editable paths that you can color any way you choose. Hope this helps.
