...the intelligent choice
for automating your color
Color Management Software iQueue 1.0 TM
Streamline your Color Management Workflow with iQueue
What do graphic arts and digital imaging professionals do when they get smart about automating color management workflows? They get iQueue!
With iQueue, you can automate your color management workflow for less than one-tenth the price of today’s high end workflow tools. So you can increase efficiency, reduce manual labor and get jobs out the door more quickly. And, since iQueue software is modular, you can start with the functionality you need today, then add features as your requirements grow.
The flexible, universal, multi-platform solution iQueue provides seamless digital workflow between designers, prepress operations, printers, and print buyers.
Running on multiple platforms — NT, Windows, and Macintosh — iQueue can be integrated into the most complex multi-vendor production environment. All popular file formats, including PDF, are fully supported.
Flexibility is a hallmark of the iQueue system. You can easily define, store, and use multiple workflow queues, each featuring a different sequence of processing tasks. Data can be input through either hot folders or print spoolers. Output files can be printed or saved to disk. Any PostScript printer can serve as a color managed printer. In addition, you can embed a PS, EPS, or PDF control strip in the output data. For greater control over data flow, you can color-transform the control strip with the same profiles as the data files.
Automates the color transformation process
From ICC matching to PostScript handling, iQueue can automate a wide variety of color transformations:
• Converting device-independent LAB data into CMYK and RGB files suitable for printing by different systems.
• Transforming RGB, LAB, or CYMK data for proofing simulation either to a PostScript printer or into a RIP’s
• Making CMYK to CMYK transformations — as in the case of converting from one printing process to another.
• Converting scanner or digital camera RGB into LAB or output CMYK.
A new direction for color workflow management
Prepress operations today are under tremendous pressure to reduce cost per page and speed cycle time.
Workflow automation is a must. Now with iQueue, you can automate color transformations, define job
queues, and manage color more effectively in the prepress workflow.

iQueue features at a glance
• Fully automate color matching of PDF files for fast and reliable results.
• Simply drag-and-drop input data into hot folders that are either local or located on a workflow server.
• Turn any PostScript printer into a color managed printer.
• Convert common data formats including PDF, PostScript, EPS, TIFF, JPEG, Scitex CT, and PNG.
• Automatically store workflow queue settings for reuse.
• Add control strips to PS or PDF output, eliminating the need to have extra runs for quality control.
• Edit the gradation curves and white point for easy fine-tuning of output results.
• Handle post-workflow applications by launching another application or script upon completion of the queue.
• Ensure color consistency in internal or external workflow standardization by specifying the CMM that meets your needs.
• Automatically detect and process files placed in hot folders with recursive hot folder scan.
• Prevent 16-bit TIFF data from being downsized by the color transformation, thus ensuring higher output quality, better modulation, and less banding.
