If you use to install ProServer virtual HDD, what will win? For a real speed boost necessary physical HDD.

You're right. Didn't notice it was getting this long.

So, quickly back to topic: Have you guys noticed that the ProServer installation actually requires three HDDs? The installer wants to put the archived jobs to drive D and tries to use drive E as a rip scratch drive. Maybe it was my fault to put them both on drive D.

The other idea is that EFI might have included some features in its own Win7 embedded OS which is missing on a stock vanilla OS. Maybe Willburwilde didn't face this problem because he's using Win2013. Definitely something to try out.
Yes you have to assign the drives properly @ install. The proServer DVD is also bootable, you can boot off it and initialise your drives...I didn't, as you said I put both to D @ install.

It's working fine on both Server 2008r2 and Win 7 as expected, nothing special was done.

Exactly, preferably an “enterprise-class drive” capable of 10,000 RPM. WD VelociRaptor's are nice.

WD VelociRaptor's are nice for another RIPs too!
And RAID/stripe with two or more WD VelociRaptors is MORE NICE IMHO

    Problems Installing Fiery XF6

    Hi there!
Thank you all for your support!
I tried to install Fiery XF on a Windows 7 64 bit System, but i have some problems with installing the Dongle Drivers correctly. Here is what i did:

    1. I executed "haspdinst.exe" with cmd (command "haspdinst.exe -i")
    2. I installed "install.cmd" within the folder "XF6_MultiKey64"
    3. Then, I opened "dseo13b.exe" and enabled "Test Mode"
    4. At next, i rebooted my computer
    5. Then I signed the "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\MultiKey.sys" with "dseo13b.exe"
    6. After a reboot, I installed Fiery XF6. I tried "FieryXF62PCmaster" AND "FieryXF62proserverDVD1". After the installation, Fiery XF6 wasn't able to find the Dongle. Is this normal?
    7. I stopped the "EFI License Service" and "Fiery XF Control"
    8. At next, I replaced the file "EFI.exe" at "Program Files (x86)\FlexLM". Based on the instructions, i should also replace the files "app2.exe" and "EFICut.dll". But i can't find any installations which are using those files...
    9. Then, I uninstalled the “SafeNet Inc. USB Key” at the Device Manager.
    10. After that, I deleted with regedit the Folders “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Aladdin Knowledge Systems” AND - as Willburwilde posted in his Post #104 I took a look at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\M ulti Key" and if this folder would have exists, I would have deleted it. But there was no folder like that in the registry.
    11. Then, I did the steps 1-5 again (executing "haspdinst.exe", installing "install.cmd" and using "dseo13b.exe" to "Enable Test Mode" and sign the File "MultiKey.sys"
But after all, there is no dongle available.

The File "MultiKey.sys" is signed (as ColorWizard posted at post #127):

BUT under Device Manager there is only one "SafeNet Inc. USB Key" and one "Virtual USB MultiKey" showing (based on ColorWizard's post #129)

The "Virtual USB MultiKey" seems to be correctly installed, but the "SafeNet Inc. USB Key" is somwhere corrupted. The driver-date and the driver-version seems also to be not correct.

I have no idea what i did wrong. I read the whole thread, but I didn't found any solution..

Thank you for your help in advance!

It would seem that you didn't tick the box in this step:

    5. If using MultiKey go to device manager and right click and uninstall the "SafeNet Inc. USB Key" device with an exclamation mark whilst ticking delete device drivers.

Thanks for your reply! I am sorry, but I really don't know where to find the option "delete device drivers". With the Device Manager I just can "Uninstall" the drivers...

Also the screenshot also displays how it should look if done correctly.

Replace .lic with updated one in "Dongle Emu, License/Hybrid K - XF6 Permanent (101796672) - All Options" - first post, reboot, apply update.

Can be applied to either proServer or XF Normal.

Added 6.3 to first post, updated installation instructions and archive.

The install procedure has not changed since 6.2 other than the new 6.3 license
