    Trolltech Qt Commercial v4.4.3 (Win/Mac OSX/Linux) | 1.36 GB

Qt is a full development framework with tools designed to streamline the creation of applications and user interfaces for desktop, embedded and mobile platforms.

    - Qt framework - intuitive APIs for C++ and CSS/javascript-like programming with Qt Quick for rapid UI creation
    - Qt Creator IDE - powerful cross-platform integrated development environment, including UI designer tools and on-device debugging
    - Tools and toolchains - All you need: simulator, local and remote compilers, internationalization support, device toolchains and more.

With Qt, you can reuse code efficiently to target multiple platforms with code base. The modular C++ class library and developer tools easily enables developers to create applications for platform and easily build and run to deploy on another platform.

    About Digia, Qt

The Qt development framework was created in 1994 by a company called Trolltech. In 2008, Trolltech sold the Qt development framework to Nokia.

In March 2011, Digia Plc. purchased the licensing and support rights of Qt from Nokia to better serve commercial desktop and embedded companies and developers. In September 2012 Digia acquired the full Qt business from Nokia. Digia is the only software house that can offer a -stop shop for Qt development including licensing, support, training and services.

Digia, Qt works with the Qt Project and the Qt Community to ensure contributions and feedback to the rest of the Qt community.

I'm not sure what the commercial edition offers over the typical LGPL edition.
I do not thing that there is any technical difference (the same library. no extra APIS) or any extra tools.

The commercial part is mostly the license to use the library without any LGPL restriction.
