For me the best is Onyx X or Caldera

EFI Colorproof XF 4.x with 2 additional plug-ins: Color Manager and Color Verifier. This set is so far the best approach in the market to create Contract Proofs under ISO 12647-7.

We use wasatch and caldera. Wasatch is easy to handle and has easy image Manipulation functions. Caldera is rips and Print faster.

I use EKARIP, and satisfied with the software. Mainly i use it to print on t-shirt with my DIY DTG printer.

You mean EK ( Eukon Digital) RIP, right?
I also use EK rip with my DIY DTG epson R1900 based printer. EK is the best solution for diy because include two very important tabs-Gap and Feed Adjustment!

I think it depends in what you do...
I have a Mimaki Jv33-160, Owned with Rasterlink pro 5 sg(came with machine).
I use Rasterlink Pro 5 SG, But i wanted to try Onyx as well because Colors are very diffcult to reach trhough Mimaki's software. Anyway i couldn't try Onyx because I got 7.0.6 Version and Onyx doesn't support Jv33 Until 7.1!!!, i tried different ways coudn't find Onyx 7.1 so, i've downloaded 7.3 version from Onyx site, but different cracking so i couldn't make it work(if anyone knows how to would be very helpfull).

Going back on the depending on what you do means..

Sublimation for Eg. you need lowest printing quality, and highest printing speed as possible. I'm using ICC profile as Tarpaulin 4 Passes 540x720 Fast Print, and is giving me good results. Try installing better profiles for mimaki but don't know why i can make 2 passes ICC's. So that's when i decided to try for Onyx.

Rasterlink IS VERY EASY to use and learn. But only compatible with Mimaki. But very unfriendly on color. What i mean with this is:
Colors need to be treated and set by Coreldraw,Photoshop,Illustrator or any other program...You can't make Rasterlink change a colour for you and you can't make it use your personal ICC's or Colour profiles.

    That's my opinion.

Hope some1 help me getting newer onyx for mimaki jv33.

    Cya!

You're lucky... It depends on Onyx's Version... In all Onyx's versions i've tried i could not make my Mimaki Jv33 Work as i wanted to... I'm looking for a newer Onyx version.

Yeah i know... After downloading and installing all Onyx stuff. I could not install Jv33 Mimaki's driver. I've downloaded it without problems from Onyx FTP.

Anyway Jv33 is only supported from 7.1.
I have Onyx 7.0. (DAMN!) So... im trying to find anywhere a newer onyx version anyway im investigating the mimaki software (rasterlink Pro 5 SG). to reach it's maximun potential.
