I love and prefer PosterPRINT from ERGOSOFT! Simple workflow and greatest RIP and PRINT processing.

I used Best before, then i used Efi Colorproof XF, i think it's great. I use it to print on HP 5500, very fast and configurable. I don't know others.

We have been told recently that ONYX 10.1 is a great RIP but Caldera is much more user friendly. Do you tend to agree. I would still think that ONYX Production House has the best colour engine?

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Many thanks,
    Christian

    Best rip

Ive only used Onyx and ergosoft. Onyx is very powerful and I believe most widely used now. But Ergosoft is very user friendly and has a great layout system.

Hi T. Schruda, thank you for the helpful reply. I haven't really delved into some of the ONYX Pro House (now X10), as just maintaining and profiling our inkjets takes enough of my time.
I have noticed though option to proof with OPH. Has anyone successfully used this feature?

    Thanks again,
    Christian

onyx does NOT have a proof function like EFI and colorgate for fogra!
they only have some sort of G7 proofing
