Is there any other good RIP software other than Wasatch, Onyx, etc..

Is there any good rip software out there other then the main ones? I'm looking to get a chinese made printer, (My roland has cost me a fortune and the money I spent on it... I don't even want to think about it). I'm just wondering if there is something out there that can control color. Using the software that came with my Roland there is no adjustments in colors.. just lighter and darker.

Those I looked for online - they seem to be more reasonably priced. I got a copy of Flexi 10, seems I can get it to work under Windows 8.1 but when I try to print from it there are very ugly colors and... SOME serious white lines thru my image.

Almost any good chinese printer will come with a rip. If the roland was difficult for you then it is likely a chinese printer will be even harder because they require more care
