    Signa

Preps is more intuitive. it uses the old principles. Signa is totally different. Signa fits all possible productions. Packaging, Advertising etc.

If you like to print in digital machine, only saddle-stich, simple perfect bound, or cut and stack, preps 5.3 is very good program for you!

    Signa is better!

first: I don't know Preps 6, we only work with Preps 5 and Signa Station.
If you impose sattle stitch with automatic collating marks, there is nothing better than Signa. It is extremely fast!

Preps 5.3 and then 6.2 on OSX... but I never tried anything else
I would be pleased to try Signastation (but I need program files & cracks)

We use Preps 5.3 on windows and it is enough for us. Now we will start using Preps 6.2, but we have to learn it first. I've tried it already and it is quite different from 5.3 version in my opinion.

Signastation gives you more control with your position and more automatic task.
preps is very easy to use but you will need to do every think by your self.
let me say signa for professional and preps for begginer.
