good rips to run your printer

try the Efi or the ColorGate
they are good rips (each with it's own little downsides...)

If you just need RIP to nest images, use Onyx RipCenter. Least expensive alternative.

I have good experiences with Colorgate and Canon 8000. Golorgate have some great nesting options.

I'm using EFI XF since 4 years on a Canon IPF 9000 .. this is to me the best rip you can have to explore the full gamut of your printer !
