    RIP for Roland SP540i

    buying a new roland sp540i, which would be the best rip for this printer

    Use VersaWorks. It comes with good working profiles and you are able to use all the features of the printer. Look for videos of "perfcut" on the internet. It is a useful tool for cutting stickers. Let me know if you need a copy.

    Yes Versaworks is the way to go, nice and easy to use, easy learning curve
    your media suppliers will also be able to supply profiles for it as well, so ur output will always be optimal.

    Versaworks

    I have used the sp300,sp540 and the xc-540. Versaworks is by far the easiest to print and cut once you learn how to set up your cut contour. Pantone colors are almost always spot on as long as you use the right material profile

    onyx looks great
    i like to know about wasatch softrip too, they say it is easier to work than onyx and u will get the accurate colors as onyx do. is that right
