    photonutz2011: 110v only!

Yeah, all RIPs are the same!? Really!?
First and foremost look at the end user. If you are a PowerUser in the RIP world then yes, I agree any RIP would do. If you are a beginner to RIPs or even color, you should evaluate each RIP to see which one is easier for you to understand. I've replace many GMG RIPs (used by PowerUsers) with EFI RIPs because EFI was more intuitive and user friendly. I am not saying EFI is for you, I am saying not all RIPs are the same. Do your own investigation--most RIPs have trial versions. If they don't it's probably because it's hard to install and get up and running.

Im new to this forum. I was wondering if any of you nice folks who is lucky enough to own a 7900 and 9900, what is the voltage power used in the machine when buying it from the US?. I mean I know you guys use 110v, but can the printer handle 240v as well. I know that some printers now comes in 2 modes and can be used either or by auto switching.

    Thanking you very much.
    Sticker says: 100v - 240v

I have used AccuRIP, it is not for printing color. It is used for printing film positives, for screen printing.

If you are looking for color AccuRIP will not fit that bill.

If you need to print separations for making shirts it works great.
