Check the Overried Color Management in the job

Leaves the all other option and then OK and select that option then rip again.
I've tried it and it is still the same. I have same settings in RIP for years and I've never had problems like now with preps 6 or 7. Well, i've had problems, but those were because some customers don't know how to prepare PDF's and I didn't check them.
For me it is just very strange that with preps 5.3 everything is OK and with 6/7 I have problems with some PDF's.

I don't have any more suggestions. Please consult any preps expert who knows about that.

    Brother try this :

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodak\Preps 6\Profiles\Default

You can change the above path and open with notepad. you will see line that says, "USE_PPT_PDFLIB:YES" to "NO,"

please save the orignal default.cfg file then change and save it notepad.

I imported your pdf in an imposition of Preps v6.
I have Rip the PDF file with Prinergy Evo (Refine + RIP tiff 1bit)
The separation is ok. The black separation is there

Thank you. This option works with PDF, but print to ps still give me RGB. But I don't care for ps if print to pdf will work like it should.

Have some tried Preps 7 on OS X Mavericks? I'm already tried on 2 hackintosh machines with no success. Preps just don't want to load, without any message or crush message.

I have problem regarding preps 6 and preps 7. I have always d my files in preps 5.3 with print to ps option and then distilled it with acrobat distiller. Then I have RIP the files with Xitron Navigator and everything was fine. Now I have a problem with several files so far in preps 6 or 7. When I print to ps and distill them, I check in Acrobat and all files are in RGB color. But if I do the same job in preps 5.3, then everything is fine in CMYK, as it should be. Then I also tried same job in preps 6 and 7 to print directly to PDF. Again I check in Acrobat with pitstop and everything is in CMYK. I check also separations and all 4 colors are as it should be. But, when I RIP this jobs in Xitron Navigator, I again check separations with roaming and all my images in imposition has no black color. However all black text, marks and black colorbars are fine. Any else have this problems?

    Thanks in advance.

    My Friend,

I think your problem is you are using wrong icc profile for press. If the black channel is empty after converting rgb to cmyk, it means the icc proflie you use generates the colors without black. If you change your icc profile to Iso_V2 (ECI) or fogra 39 or eurocoated (All these are standart ofset profiles) your problem will be solved directly.

When you convert your color space to another, applications use icc profiles. You can define GCR values when creating the profile. GCR means using of black ratio in trichrome and it is possible using no black.

    Thanks

And this 2 pics are from Preps 5.3.3 and this is how it should be :
