Issue ripping from PDF - Help needed

    Hi everyone!

I'm having the following issue, when I rip from a PDF (navigator multirip 10) the output I get is a bad rip with different blacks that matches with the text box. This doesn't happens with every PDF

I guess this has to do with something that is being misinterpreted by the rip because if I make an EPS and send that to the input of the rip, i get what i expect.

Pic of the PDF ripped with error

Convert all Nchannel in oryginal PDF to cmyk.
The best solution is convert pdf to PDF-X1a-2001.
Propably Your RIP profiles convert Nchannel colors with DotGain "upper".

Sorry for my poor english :)

The problem is with Black:) There are two kinds of black: c=0 m=0 y=0 k=100 (background/photo) and black with all channel (frame near text). black and black are not same:):) all HAVE to be c=20=m=40 y=40 k=100

The ONLY 1 solution is rasterize it and i do it:) Good CMYK pdf with a little noise on gradiend If You like pdf is on:

Reason is your PDF was created wrong way. All color are RGB, the cliped image and the background rectangle are all R0G0B0, but RIP treat the vector rectangle as 100K and the image as your setting (in RIP).
Solution: Recreate PDF, if have original design. If not place into Indesign and export PDF with conversion option "Convert to destination" and destination is a CMYK profile.
