    Epson 7500 help please

    hi all
i am a electronics tech, while on a job a customer (signwriter) gave me his dusty old epson 7500 wide format printer and dgi om60 cutter for doing some extra work after hours.

so far i have got cutter to work great on flexi sign but i cant get printer to print correctly from photoshop or illustrator, tried on flexi and it comes closer then ps or ai. i understand its to do with profiles and i have done alot of reading online. know my head hurts and the more i tweak the worse it gets!. i got new inks and good clean on heads, nozzle check is good. can anyone please advice me on a epson specific software for printing?

    thankyou
    sam

A specific software release is a R.I.P. I think the absolute best is ColorGATE, use the version 6 that runs on old pc

    hi
thanks for replies. ive been trying out onyx and flexi, prints are a bit closer to pic, the thing i noticed most is instead of white im getting a light green hue. i guess thats where profileing comes into picture. i thought since its a very old printer there would be a wealth of info around, but then again not many people were online then either.
